| Skystream® 3.7 |
The new and efficient Skystream® 3.7 is a state-of-the-art design,
encompassing all of the necessary components to harness the
power of the wind. Its all-inclusive design places an inverter, stall
regulation controls, and wireless communications within the
nacelle. The 2.4KW output enables electric bill reductions of 40-
90% depending on your current power consumption. The
ergonomic streamlined design of the Skystream® improves
efficiency, keeps noise down, and gives a clean appearance.
Since it is designed to operate in low wind scenarios, it can be
installed in a wider variety of locations.
With the recent small wind provision included in the Emergency
Economic Stabilization Act of 2008 (the Bailout), and The American
Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, there is a 30% tax
credit available to all residential owners of wind turbines. It is
effective until December 31, 2016. In the state of Ohio alone, there
is a 40% grant available for those using the turbine in a
commercial, industrial, institutional, or governmental application.
There is also a grant available for those using it in a residential
application. Eligibility may span other incentives as well-- Go to
